The Brinnon ShrimpFest is a weekend festival located just north of Brinnon celebrating Hood Canal Spot Shrimp and other local seafood. It lures hungry shrimpers from all over the Northwest to fish Hood Canal’s rich waters. We feature craft booths, food booths, belt sander races, exhibits, live music, kids activities and so much more.
Across the country, thousands of individuals and organizations will offer local stewardship and recreational opportunities to celebrate America’s magnificent trails. Together, we'll give back to the places we love and set the world record for the most people improving trails in a single day. Free day-use on all State Park and Forest Service lands (not including National Parks).
14 miles out on the end of the beautiful Toandos Peninsula sits the Laurel B. Johnson Community Center operated by the Jefferson County Parks & Recreation District and the citizens of the Toandos Peninsula. This facility offers a lovely community room with seating for 65+, a fireplace, and a full-service kitchen.
