Gain a firsthand look into the heart of the “Logging Capital of the World” with the Forks Logging and Mill Tours. Departing from the Forks Visitor Information Center every Wednesday morning from May through August, these award-winning, volunteer-led tours provide an immersive 3-hour journey into the region’s working forests. Whether you’re watching a massive Harvester-Processor in action at an active logging site or visiting a local mill to see how timber is transformed, you’ll leave with a deep appreciation for the skill and heritage that built this Olympic Peninsula community.
