Capture The Scene
Some say that here on the Olympic Peninsula, we live in a picture postcard. From the rugged Pacific Ocean beaches to the deep primeval rain forests to the tops of the Olympic Mountains, the scenery here is nothing short of magical. The Olympic Peninsula has served as the setting or backdrop for numerous films, videos, commercials and breathtaking still photography. Located just northwest of Seattle, the Olympic Peninsula is accessible by ferry, plane, boat or highway.
Across the Olympic Peninsula, film makers and commercial photographers can find quaint small towns, historic buildings, forts, lush farmlands, scenic rural roads, wild ocean beaches, dense forests, crystal clear lakes and rivers, and mountain-top vistas. At the center of it all is the Olympic National Park, encompassing nearly a million acres of wilderness including snow capped mountains, old-growth rain forests and 73 miles of wild coastline.
