The Quilcene Lantern will celebrate 1 year of being open for business with the second-annual TARBOO: the Olympic Peninsula’s Music Fest. With headlining performances by PNW indie folk legends Blind Pilot and Seattle DJ/producer Chong the Nomad, TARBOO will feature a veritable who’s who of indie music, including grunge pop darlings Great Grandpa, singer-songwriter Uwade, Portland rocker MAITA, art-synth-pop outfit Mt Fog, Devin Champlin, Desolation Horse, and many more. All 16 bands on the lineup will perform in the Lantern’s central venue, a 90-year old barn situated on 53 acres of rolling hills and woodlands in the foothills of the Olympic Mountains.
