The Port Angeles Fine Arts Center will host an outdoor giant puppet performance of “Night at the Grand Opera” by theater company String and Shadow at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 9. Held in the meadow at Webster’s Woods Sculpture Park, the 75-minute, all-ages show features unfolding cardboard sets and papier-mache creations to bring a chaotic European opera house to life. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with concessions available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and register for tickets in advance due to limited capacity.
