Sep 24 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Chef Xinh Dwelley is heading to Lilliwaup for a waterside outdoor dinner in one of the most beautiful (and productive) locations on the Hood Canal! Join us as we celebrate oyster season (and so much more) and raise finds for cancer research! Dinner includes appetizers, entrees and dessert prepared by Xinh Dwelley. Xinh will be sharing recipes from her new cookbook (geoduck inspirations, YUM!) as well as traditional favorites from her restaurant. Beverages are included. Tickets are limited to the covered seating available at Hama Hama Oyster Co.. Table sizes are determined by group size. Please let organizers know your preferences so that they may allow guests to feel as comfortable as possible! ❤️ Dinner will be served “family style” with your group at your private table. This event happens rain or shine. Seating will be covered. Chef Xinh Dewelley was born in South Vietnam where she discovered her natural talent of making people happy with her food as she cooked for an entire U.S. battalion before the age of 15. When she moved to Washington in 1970, she sold her spring rolls at the Olympia Farmers Market, and became an ace oyster shucker, winning the West Coast Oyster Shucking Championship at OysterFest five times in a row. She finally found her home at Xinh’s Clam & Oyster House in Shelton, WA. Her recent cookbook, Pacific Coastal Flavors (2019) celebrates favorite Hood Canal recipes and memories over 25 years of operating Xinh’s Clam and Oyster House in Shelton.
