DRIFTWOOD ART SHOW
March 22, 2014 - March 23, 2014
The Olympic Driftwood Sculptors will be holding their 6th Annual Winter Show on March 22 & 23 at the Dungeness River Audubon Center at Railroad Bridge Park, 2151 W. Hendrickson Rd., Sequim. Show hours will be 10 am to 4 pm.
Admission is free.
The exhibit of numerous sculptures will also include "Fantasia" - a separate display of fantasy related sculptures.
Demonstrations of works-in-progress will be on-going throughout the show & driftwood artists will be available to answer questions & explain the process used in creating these beautiful art pieces.

11th Annual Olympic BirdFest
April 4, 2014 - April 6, 2014
The Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society will conduct its 11th annual Olympic BirdFest on April 4th through April 6th 2014. This festival provides participants the opportunity to view a wide variety of birds normally seen on the Olympic Peninsula. Field trips are planned for Sequim Bay, Port Angeles Harbor, Ediz Hook, Dungeness Spit, the Elwha River, Salt Creek and at Neah Bay as well as trips through wooded areas to view songbirds and see owls in the evening. Boat trips to Protection Island are also planned. The North Olympic Peninsula is widely known as a great place for birdwatching.

Sequim Student Film Festival

The 9th annual 2014 Sequim Education Foundation Student Film Festival starts at 7PM on Friday, April 18th at Sequim High School Auditorium, 601 N.Sequim Ave, Sequim,WA. This is great family entertainment - Fun for all ages! A $5.00 donation gets both adults and students into the Film Festival competition. Money raised goes toward the $6,750 in scholarship funds earned by the filmmakers.
